XSLT testing using Stylus Studio

There are two ways you can have XSLT in your maps.

1> In a scripting functoid with a possible connection to source and destination.It allows you to have other links and functoids in the same map.

2>Using the Custom XSL path property of your map where you place the path of your xsl file.It will not work with any link or functoid in the map, every logic of the transform will have to be in corporated within the XSL file.

While testing the 1st case, after you place the body of your template this is the code you need to include in order to see a xml output or else you will see some values with spaces.

<xsl:template match=”/”>
    <xsl:call-template name=”YOURTEMPLATENAME”/>
</xsl:template>

While tsting the 2nd approach this is what you need to use:

<xsl:template match=”/”>
        <xsl:apply-templates select=”YOURTEMPLATENAME”/>
</xsl:template>
